Bampton, in the Cotswolds, is one of the oldest and prettiest villages in the area, retaining much of the character of the traditional Cotswold village. It is also, however, a hive of activity, with a multitude of events taking place throughout the year, with something for everyone. The people are friendly, and visitors are warmly welcomed, especially if they stand a round in one of the many pubs in the Village!

The Village is a wonderful mixture of the ancient and the new. Many of its buildings are centuries old, and with many tales to tell. It has many traditions, some ancient, some relatively new, but all are carefully guarded in order to maintain the unique culture that is Bampton.
