Bampton is a very busy village with a lot going on. Key events are the Great Annual Shirt Race and Morris Dancing Day during the Spring Bank Holiday (last Monday in May) the Bampton Classical Opera concert in July the Donkey Derby in August and to round off the year the Mummers on Christmas Eve.
