The Horseshoe public house was rebuilt in 1923/24 after the original pub burned down in 1923. This makes the Horseshoe the only purpose-built pub in Bampton.

We have 2 bars for you to enjoy a drink in. You can either relax in our lounge bar in front of open log fire with a pint of real ale or fine wine, and enjoy the village atmosphere, or, if you like pub games, then our other bar is the place that would suit you. This bar has a pool table, dart board, music and Sky TV. We also have a walled garden where, in the summer, you will see ‘Aunt Sally’ been played, and from April to the end of May, on Sunday evenings, we have Morris Dancing.
