| Welcome to West Ox Arts West Ox Arts is an association of artists and art enthusiasts, many of whom take part in exhibitions alongside artists invited from the wider region. We hold up to fifteen exhibitions a year showing a varied range of contemporary, high quality art and crafts by local and national artists. West Ox Arts is situated in a lovely spacious gallery on the first floor of Bampton’s Grade II listed Town Hall in the Market Square. Every year three of our exhibitions take place in the Robert Vesey Room located at Bampton Library. The gallery has a shop which sells reasonably priced handmade jewellery, ceramics, glassware and cards. We also organise stage productions, talks, workshops and special events. West Ox Arts is a charity and is part-funded by West Oxfordshire District Council and Bampton Parish Council, it is staffed by a part-time curator and administrator and also volunteers. Gallery opening hours during exhibitions: Tues-Sat 10.30am-12.30pm and 2-4pm. Sun 2-4pm | |
